Born in 1940, Mario Andretti was one of the most accomplished and versatile racing drivers ever to compete.
He has won races in virtually every discipline, including Formula 1, NASCAR, IndyCar and even World Sportscar Championships. The only other driver to have done this and displayed similar dexterity behind the wheel, was the great Dan Gurney. He’s also beaten fields in drag racing, dirt tracks, midget and sprint cars.
An American legend, and accomplished racer, this T-Shirt is a tribute to the man who first said: “If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough” – the phrase that is jumbled into the USA speed sign on the breast of this shirt.
