I’ve had the pleasure and privilege to play bass guitar for many years – and on a recreational basis – to play live, to record with friends and create music that I loved.
The bass guitar has been a big part of my life and will continue to be so. During the years, I’ve spent a great deal of time searching out the best quality basses that I possibly could. My criteria was simple: Whatever I bought had to ‘feel right’. Like a bank-teller dealing with currency and notes; some basses feel spot on and others, for whatever reason, just don’t ‘speak to you’ or feel right.
It never matters to me whether a bass is mint condition, or whether it’s battered and beaten, it’s got to feel good, play beautifully, and deliver a sound that punches you in the solar-plexus, before the sound even reaches your ears. Rest assured, the basses that I will be gradually adding to Junk Male over the coming months, will be the very best you can buy. I wouldn’t risk the Junk Male brand with anything less.
