When we first designed our popular ‘Cray’ Twins T-Shirt (our affectionate homage to notorious East End Gangsters; The Kray Twins); we completed an exceptionally small, Limited-Edition Run – on a much darker and thinner Marl cotton fabric (we call this ‘Parkhurst-Grey’).

As with the higher-contrast (and lighter ‘Wandsworth Grey’ shirts), these have been ‘over-loaded’ with ink. This compensates nicely for the natural fading that will occur between the water-based inks and the cotton blend of the garment (during the first few washes). This gives these T-Shirts a beautifully worn and natural retro feel. The typography features deliberate disintegration and printing inconsistency, for that worn-in grungy look.
